JOHN A. HEMPHILL, AIA
Principal
Jack graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Architecture. He has been with Hemphill Randel Associates for thirty years. Previously, he was the Vice President and General Manager of BSC Design, Inc. in Boston, MA. He has over 40 years of wide-ranging architectural experience which includes many municipal buildings, justice facilities, and institutional projects. He has also performed many master plans and feasibility jail studies for municipalities throughout the Carolinas. Jack is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), accredited by the National Council of Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ), and accredited by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
FRANK H. RANDEL, AIA
Principal
Frank graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Architecture. He has been with Hemphill Randel Associates for 17 years. He has over 27 years of architectural experience including public institutional and municipal type projects. His responsibilities include the coordination of all disciplines within the design, production, and construction phases. He is also responsible for the continuity of the design intent throughout all parts of the project including the construction phase. He recently finished a project that involved the conversion of a NC state maximum security prison into a county detention facility for maximum, medium, and minimum security. Frank is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and accredited by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
