We are licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. We are accredited by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, the National Council of Interior Design Qualifications, and the U.S. Green Building Council: Leed Green Associate.

 

We've specialized in the planning and architectural design of detention facilities in the Carolinas for over twenty years. We have experience working with all the North Carolina authorities who have approval jurisdiction over the projects including the personnel with the NC Department of Insurance/State Fire Marshall and the NC Department of Health Services Regulations Construction Division. The Inspections Division know us and are familiar with our methods and approach to the design of jails. More importantly, we know their interpretations of the codes due to our on-going discussion with them about the details of the NC Jail Standards for two decades.
